The Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman is an independent organisation within the furniture industry.

Membership is voluntary for retailers like Fairway Furniture, and the scheme aims to enhance customer satisfaction and provide reassuring peace of mind for you as the consumer.


What it means for you...

The Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman offers mediation and legal advice on any matters raised within the industry, and ensures that all concerns are concluded in the correct manner.

It is an independent organisation which offers anyone help if they have a service issue and also offers independent furniture inspection services. The Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman is also recognised by Consumer Direct (what used to be know as Trading Standards).

By signing up as a member of The Furniture & Home Improvement Ombudsman scheme, we commit to their Code of Conduct which sets out best practice principles to ensure high standards in the products we sell and the service we offer.
