Delivery Service
At the time you place your order, you will be quoted an anticipated delivery timeframe – it is however only an estimate. This is based on the latest information from our suppliers.
Once your order has been delivered to one of our warehouses, we will contact you, usually by telephone, to arrange a delivery day. If we are unable to contact you by telephone, we will send a postcard asking you to contact us as soon as possible.
Our warehouses allocate deliveries to areas on one or more specific days per week. Deliveries are allocated on the basis of remaining spaces available, so it may not always possible to offer you a delivery on the next scheduled day that we are delivering in your area.
All deliveries need to be signed for, so make sure that if you are not able to accept your delivery, the person allowing our delivery staff access is aware of this.
Delivery Service Options
At the time of purchase you can select our Standard Delivery service or our Deluxe Delivery service. All deliveries are carried out using our own fleet of vehicles and dedicated trained staff, ensuring you get the highest standard of service.
1. Standard Delivery Service
Our ‘Standard Delivery’ service is free on orders over £500, with a nominal charge being made for smaller orders. This service delivers your furniture to any accessible room of your choice in Devon & Cornwall, without the need for our staff to remove windows or doors.
Your order will be left in any manufacturers’ packaging for you to unwrap – disposal of the packaging will be your responsibility.
2. Deluxe Delivery Service
The ‘Deluxe Delivery’ offers, for a small additional charge, unwrapping and assembly of all applicable furniture leaving it ready for use (please note that some items are sold as self assembly and as such we do not offer the deluxe delivery service on them – these items are indicated as such). This service also includes the removal of all packaging, leaving you free to immediately enjoy your new furniture.
Special Delivery Service
Where there may be significant problems with delivering your order to your property, perhaps due to the need to deliver over a balcony or high walls for example, we do offer a Special Delivery service.
Subject to an initial survey and assessment by one of our special delivery team, prices for special delivery start from £25. This will rise dependent on any additional specialist equipment that has to be hired and the time taken to complete the delivery.
If you feel that access may be a problem, please advise us before we arrange delivery, so that a survey can be arranged.
Disposal Service
In addition to our delivery services, we also offer a disposal service for old furniture. For a small charge, we will dispose of a similar item, on a ‘like for like’ basis. For example, if we are delivering a new sofa, we will remove your old sofa – we will not however remove additional items. Please ask instore for further details of this service.
